At Empowering Little Minds, I believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported and understood. Children experience many emotions, challenges and changes as they grow, and mindfulness can help children become more aware of their thoughts, feelings and reactions in a calm and supportive way. Through guided mindfulness activities and wellbeing practices, children are encouraged to develop emotional awareness, confidence, self-regulation and positive coping strategies that can support them both inside and outside the classroom.

About Me

For years I supported expat women rebuilding their identity abroad. Becoming a mum changed everything - and showed me where this work belongs next.

Hi, I’m Xanthi. I’m the founder of Empowering Little Minds — a children’s mindfulness and emotional wellbeing program designed to support children in building confidence, emotional resilience and healthy wellbeing habits in a calm, nurturing and supportive environment. Based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, I offer mindfulness and wellbeing sessions for children from Kindergarten to Year 6 within schools, workshops, wellbeing groups and community settings. As a qualified Peaceful Kids facilitator, I’m passionate about helping children develop greater calm, confidence and emotional awareness through mindfulness-based practices and practical wellbeing tools for everyday life. Alongside my wellbeing work, I have spent the past 1.5 years working with primary-aged students through after-school robotics programs within Sydney schools. This experience has allowed me to build strong connections with children within supportive educational environments and has further deepened my passion for supporting young minds. My journey in emotional wellbeing began through supporting expat women through my wellbeing brand, Empowered To Thrive, focused on mindset, confidence and personal growth while navigating life abroad. As a mum, my passion for children’s emotional wellbeing deepened in a much more personal way when my daughter began experiencing anxiety and emotional challenges within the school environment from an early age. Supporting her through those experiences opened my heart to the importance of helping children develop healthy coping skills, confidence and emotional resilience from an early age. This inspired me to create Empowering Little Minds — a space dedicated to supporting children in developing calmness, confidence, emotional awareness and healthy wellbeing habits from an early age, helping them feel supported, encouraged and empowered from within.

What children take home

Real shifts. Quietly profound.

Parents and teachers tell us the change shows up in the small moments – at bedtime, before a test, after a hard day at the playground. Not magic. Just small skills, practised early.

Self-regulation

Children learn to recognise a rising wave and meet it with a breath - not a meltdown.

Emotional vocabulary

"I feel frustrated" instead of "I hate everything" - a small change that opens enormous doors.

Better sleep

Settled bodies fall asleep faster. Wind-down practices that work, even on busy nights.

Confidence & courage

Knowing their character strengths gives kids a sturdy place to stand when things feel hard.

Kinder friendships

Empathy practices help children listen, share and repair -the real skills of belonging.

Focus & learning

Even five minutes of stillness changes how a child's brain meets the next maths page.

No - and we're careful about that line. Peaceful Kids is a preventative wellbeing program teaching mindfulness and positive-psychology skills. It's wonderful alongside therapy if your child already sees one, but it doesn't replace clinical support for diagnosed conditions.
